Today we are mindful of the price paid for our mistakes. God gave his best for our worst, on this day, 2000 years ago. Against our understanding and our nature, God gave his only son to be pierced, crushed, and punished, so that we might find life in him. By his wounds we are healed, can you believe it?! It is our hope and prayer that today you do believe, that you receive the payment made on the cross, that you come to know the Creator of the universe and understand what he has done. For it is Friday, Good Friday and we remember the sacrifice made on our behalf and we mourn the death of our Savior. But we know that Sunday is coming, and we know that Christ rose from the grave and that because of this we have hope! Have a wonderful day knowing that by his wounds we are healed.

I must say that you two certainly know how to get someone's attention, with the catchy title! What a powerful statement about the sacrifice Jesus made for all of us. As a mother, I cannot imagine the pain Mary suffered, knowing that her Son was doing what his Father had planned; yet, wanting to keep him Earth bound for herself and the family. I am proud of your insight into the meaning of Easter and your sharing it with all of us...cb
